How Do I Get an Eastel SIM Card?

How Do I Activate My Eastel SIM?
After receiving your Eastel SIM card, activate it through the Eastel Super App by completing the identity verification process using your MyKad, passport, or other accepted identification document. Registration is completed digitally and fully compliant with MCMC guidelines.
Can I Keep My Existing Number When Switching to Eastel?
Yes. Eastel supports Mobile Number Portability (MNP). You can port your existing number from another operator to Eastel, subject to eligibility checks and settlement of any outstanding bills with your previous operator.
What Identification Documents Are Required for Registration?
For Malaysian citizens and Permanent Residents, accepted documents include the original MyKad with biometric authentication, Valid Permanent Residence Card (MyPR), Valid Temporary Identity Card (MyKAS), and MyTentera. For foreigners, a valid passport is required.
What Is the Minimum Age Required for Registration?
Eastel mobile services are open to individuals aged 12 years and above. However, participation in Eastel's referral, incentive, or passive income programme is strictly limited to individuals aged 18 years and above.
How Many Eastel SIM Cards Can I Register Under My ID?
Malaysian citizens and Permanent Residents may register up to five active prepaid SIMs per service provider. Foreigners are limited to two active prepaid SIMs. Business entities have no limitation, subject to company verification by Eastel.
Eastel Reload & eCOMM Wallet FAQs
What Is the Reload Validity for Eastel?
For reloads from RM1 to RM99, validity follows the reload amount in days — for example, a RM20 reload provides 20 days of validity. For reloads of RM100 and above, you will receive 120 days of validity regardless of the reload amount.
Are Reloads Refundable?
Reloads are strictly non-refundable once processed, unless the error is proven to have been caused by Eastel. Customers are advised to ensure all reload details are correct before confirming any transaction.
What Should I Do if a Reload Is Not Reflected?
If your reload is not reflected within a reasonable time, contact Eastel customer support with your proof of payment (such as a bank slip or transaction ID) for verification and resolution.
What Is the eCOMM Wallet?
The eCOMM Wallet is a dedicated closed ecosystem wallet within Eastel, funded exclusively through transfers from the Eastel Wallet (incentive balance). Transfers from the Eastel Wallet into the eCOMM Wallet receive a 1:1.5 exchange boost — for example, RM2,400 transferred equals RM3,600 credited. eCOMM Wallet funds may be used for purchases within the Eastel ecosystem but are non-withdrawable and cannot be converted back to cash.
What Is the eCOMM Wallet Multiplier?
When you transfer funds from your Eastel Wallet to the eCOMM Wallet, you receive a 1:1.5 boost on your transfer amount, giving you more spending power within the Eastel ecosystem.
What Is the Monthly Reload Incentive?
The Monthly Reload Incentive rewards active Eastel subscribers who are part of the referral and commission programme. Incentives are calculated monthly based on verified reload transactions performed within your network, and payouts are credited to your Eastel Wallet on the 18th of the following month, subject to meeting the minimum monthly threshold of RM30.

What Is the Eastel SIM Card Lifecycle?
The Eastel SIM card passes through four lifecycle stages. Active status lasts 7 days from activation, with full service including calls, SMS, and data. Barred status lasts 90 days after the Active period ends, allowing incoming calls and SMS only — a reload of any amount restores Active status. Suspended status lasts 30 days either voluntarily or involuntarily, with no calls, SMS, or data access — a request for unsuspension is required. Expired status occurs after the Barred period ends, where the number is terminated and reinstatement rules apply if eligible.
Does the Eastel SIM Card Support IDD and International Roaming?
Eastel offers international data roaming on selected prepaid plans to destinations including Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand. For IDD and roaming details specific to your plan, please refer to the plan features or contact Eastel support.
How Do I Check My Credit Balance and Plan Balance?
You can check your airtime credit balance and data plan balance anytime through the Eastel Super App on your mobile device. Your balance details are displayed on the home screen of the app under the Telco Service section.
Can My Data, SMS, or Calls Be Carried Forward?
On selected Eastel plans, unused high-speed internet data can be carried forward to the next billing cycle. However, unused SMS and voice minutes are generally not carried forward unless explicitly stated in the plan terms.

What Is the Price of the Eastel SIM Starter Kit (ESK)?
The Eastel Starter Kit (ESK) is priced at RM299. It is designed for subscribers who wish to start their Eastelpreneur journey with the tools needed to build their network and earn passive income.
When Are Incentives Paid?
All Eastel incentives, including the Registration Bonus and Monthly Reload Incentive, are credited to the subscriber's Eastel Wallet on the 18th of the following month, subject to meeting the applicable eligibility and minimum reload requirements.
What Is the Minimum Payout Threshold and Processing Fee?
The minimum monthly incentive payout threshold is RM30. If the earned incentive for a month is below RM30, it will be carried forward to the next month. A processing fee of RM1.00 applies per disbursement to the Eastel Wallet, and RM2.00 for withdrawals to a bank account.
Are Promotional Rewards Transferable or Exchangeable for Cash?
No. Promotional rewards, incentives, and eCOMM Wallet balances are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash unless specifically stated otherwise in the applicable promotion or incentive terms.
Can SIM Cards Be Purchased in Bulk?

What Is the SIM Replacement Fee?
The SIM replacement fee is RM10 per request, unless otherwise stated under applicable promotions. During the replacement process, the account will be temporarily placed in Suspended status. Your existing mobile number, airtime balance, and mobile plan will be retained subject to successful reactivation.
What Happens if a Number Expires?
If your Eastel number expires, you may submit a reinstatement request. For MNP numbers, the request must be submitted within 7 days from the date of expiry. For non-MNP numbers, the request must be submitted within 21 days. A minimum reload of RM100 is required for any reinstatement to be processed.
